The NHL Network has come up with a slew of commercials lately, hoping to get youpsyched for the coming season. The commercials have names like Neutral Zone, Defense and 100%. And every one of them suck. In fact, they are so shit I am considering cancelling my subscription to the NHL Network. Yes. That’s it. I guarantee that if I see another one of these commercials, I will cancel my subscription*.
Anyways, here is the one titled Press Conference. It actually sucks 2% less than all the others.

1) Sorry Puck, we have to disagree with ya on that. we find the ads funny as hell. Some more than others, but so far our fav is the offense/defense ad. They are much better than the post lockout ‘My NHL’ ads!

These commercials are really stupid… Really! The only one I liked is “Neutral Zone” about Switzerland, but it also is stupid… :) I hope they will get better than this…

So, where are these commercials airing? Granted, I don’t watch much TV, but if they are on the NHL network, promoting the upcoming NHL season,…well, isn’t that just preaching to the converted?

I agree with FauxRumors… the Offense/Defense one is the best. These aren’t that bad, in all honesty. They show many crappier ads on the NHL Network. If anything, it’s better than the era when they showed Darryl Sittler every commercial break.

Weren’t these commercials airing late last season? I don’t think they have anything to do with this upcoming season. They are almost like the old Abbott and Costello acts.
