Rumor of the Day

It’s not often that one hears rumors involving New York Islander Mike Comrie. And if you did, you may ask, “Is it true he might actually score again? I heard a rumor that said he might…”

Well, luckily for him, Mike is scoring off the ice. Some haggy blogger is “reporting” that Mike Comrie and his girlfriend of one year, Hillary Duff are engaged,  (I hear she’s famous). Apparently, she’s showing off a ring…. I guess that may mean something…

So I hit Wikipedia to bone-up on Duff(!) and see that she’s not even 21 yet (birthday’s next month). Getting engaged just seems like a baaad idea right now — Hell, Comrie hasn’t shown this much commitment to a team in the last three years. You kids should slow it down, have some fun and, if there’s time, maybe score some f’n goals, Mike!
