Analyst May Be Reborn Mongol Warrior

Montreal Canadiens sports broadcaster/hockey analyst/shithead Ron Fournier has been found in violation of the Code of Ethics. The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council ruled that the CKAC host did indeed promote violence by saying the following as described by THN:

 Speaking with his co-host about the Habs’ lack of reaction to opponents interfering with their goalie, CKAC-AM talk show host Ron Fournier suggested that, after the second instance of future goalie interference, the Canadiens should (and this is a translation) “break (a) stick on the back of the (opposing) player’s neck. […] You cross-check him in the back of the head and he ends up with his face in the glass enclosure or in the ice!”

I can kinda see how it can be easy to get caught up in the moment with all the excitement of the game and everything. I used to get riled up at games and yell, “SHOOT’EM IN THE FACE YOU SONOVABITCH!!!!” at our defense when their offense would make a rush. I was just trying to be a good motivator but it turns out all it really does is gets you banned for life from Peewee hockey games.
