It looks like the Vancouver Canucks are starting to consider a Plan B after tendering their ass-clown $20 million offer to Mats Sundin. Mark Parrish, the former Wild winger who was bought out late last month has garnered some interest from the Vancouver Canucks. Well, that’s only if Sundin turns them down.
Reports TSN:
Parrish’s agent spoke to Vancouver radio station CKNW on Wednesday confirming the Canucks’ interest in his client and admitting a signing may not take place until Sundin makes a decision on his future.
“I think there are a few teams waiting on Mats to see what he ends up doing,” agent John Vollan told the radio station. “There are a few teams (interested in Parrish). It’s preliminary. (Mark) is finding out what his interest is as well.”
I don’t know how a winger who has never been better than a plus+10 in his 9 years in the NHL gets so much attention. Sure, he was pretty good once upon a time (hello 2001!), but he’s clearly not contributing anymore. Can you believe this guy was actually part of the deal that sent Luongo and Jokinen from the Islanders to the Panthers?!
Mike Milbury is a friggin’ genius!!
