In case you missed it. this occured a few days ago as Team USA was leading Team Finland at the World Hockey Championship.
Even after review, this goal was allowed (go to the 35 second mark).
Not really anything to say here except: thank you baby Jesus for not letting these refs and officials work for the NHL.
This is one of those moments were you’re kinda embarrassed to be a hockey fan…
Incidentally, the video official got his ass fired. Thank you again Baby Jesus.

1) Reminds us of a play a decade or so ago when then-Ranger Joey Kocur took a shot and it appeared to either go just wide or through the net. If it went in, it kept going, meaning it had to have gone through the netting to count.
2) Amazingly, the goal DID count AND they continued to play with the apparently defective goal the rest of the game. LOL
