Which team has the best Ice Girls?
Ice Girls, for the uninitiated, are hockey’s answer to the cheerleader. Although cheerleaders simply stand on the sidelines of other sports, Ice Girls often (but not always) step onto the ice, clean away excess snow, wipe down the glass, and of course give away t-shirts. Any excuse to have them parade their increased chest sizes and minuscule waists is good enough for management and fans.
So without any further delay, here are a rundown of each team’s ice girls, a photo, and a summary. Once you’re done, please vote (to the right over there) for the team you think has the best Ice Girl squad.

Delta Dentals Penguins Patrol Official Link Summary: Despite the horrid name, this squad does have a few cuties on board. But it’s all for naught. This squad simply has way too many male organs to be taken seriously. |

While they don’t have a calendar, and aren’t as pretty, the Thrashers’ web site does go the extra mile and give each dancer their own photo gallery. It’s worth checking out…you may want to switch off your monitor first though… they don’t have the most talented photographer on staff. |

Lightning Girls Official Link Summary: Tampa’s Lightning Girls fall somewhere in between the Florida Ice Dancers and Atlanta’s Blue Crew. They certainly are very attractive, but costumes are a bit lame, and they don’t have the same sex appeal that their Floridian counterparts have. Their site does have lots of stuff though and the photos are better quality. |

As a season ticket holder for the Panthers I can tell you the only thing keeping me from beating the hell out of Jacques Martin every night are the incredibly gorgeous Ice Dancers. They are all really nice as well. What’s even hotter is that they all go out together as well. It’s not uncommon to find about 7 or 8 of the team members at one of the clubs at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL. Those ladies can dance.

Well, the Florida team is the strippiest of all of them. But I deduct points if they don’t skate.
The Islanders Ice Girls are very underrated. However, they shouldn’t have signed Kelli to a 15 year deal, she’ll be pushing 40.

I doubt South Florida is prime breeding ground for ice skating girls. The girls from the Panthers team work their butts off each night they perform, plus whatever practices they have during the week and the events they do outside the arena.

We don’t have this in Detroit because we are more into men with mullets. If they could get a bunch of mullet wearing white trash men out on that ice we would love it. Yes it is true the closest thing to a girl we get is the octopi on the ice. Being gay is a strict requirement of being a Wing fan. Oh yeah hey der. In Canada we have ice girls that clear the pond after we skate. They usually wear flannel and chop trees during the week. Maple Leafs are great eh? I like to watch them with my friends Jack and Rod. During intermission we play “spin the Molson bottle” I also like playing hockey and truth or dare with them. I got frostbite one time from skating so long and to save my toes my mother had to suck my toes.

As for the hottest girls, I would have to pick the Predators Goal Girls and the Panthers’ Dancers.
However, I woluld like to point out that the Predators Goal Girls actually have a purpose which is also being part of the ice crew and they can acually skate while looking hot. The Panthers in addition to other teams have girls who cannot skate only dance around which is not too difficult.
I would like to add that there are a few other girls on the Predators site which are so much hotter than the girl this site selected to represent the team.

Thank GOD that Buffalo doesn’t have these. They sell out games without T&A and they sell out even when the team stinks (Like right now) It’s ridiculous to think that you need girls with barely nothing on to interest men in a hockey game. If you’re at a hockey game you are there because you love the sport. Bimbos on ice.. save it for Disney

I’ve got to give it to the Tampa Bay Girls. Their site is pretty nice and they do a lot of dancing and skating. I’ve seen them at some events besides the games too. Their myspace has some videos - Smart, talented, hot and love hockey! What more can you ask for? The Panthers girls pictures seem a bit too stripper-ish. But Florida teams in general definitely have the best looking girls in the NHL.

The Wings aren’t mentioned because we are an embarrassment to the league. We don’t have pretty girls in Detroit that is why we all have to be a homosexual to be a Wings fan. It is a prerequisite before you are even allowed to cheer. The hazing with the ostrich eggs shoved up our butts is fun.

HAHA The Florida Panthers are trash. please just go to you tube and watch their videos of them dancers. all they do is shake around their implants and celulite. TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING GIRLS ARE THE BEST! Not only do they dance, but they skate… the only Ice girl team that i think does that. Plus.. this is hockey, not football, the girls dont need to be wearing skimpy outfits inside an ice rink you idiots! Looking at the pictures and web sites, it seems only 12 of these squads are really “ice girls,” i.e., clean the ice during commercial breaks.
The Predators ice girls, not only do that, but a couple of them are professional figure skaters and do jumps, spins, and spirals during the intermissions. Like the Blue Jackets and Lightning, the Predators have a separate dance team. Check out Lakelyn to see the hottest woman on any of these teams.

So Chicago’s Ice Crew is currently ranked as the hottest group of ice girls. Let’s hope they’re hot..that would be essential if Kylah’s career aspirations are to “marry someone rich.” It makes sense seeing as how one of her hobbies is “playing tricks” and her fav movie is Pretty Woman…hmm.

I am a Chicago fan. Not only are our ice girls hot, but so are The Luv-A-Bulls, Shamrox Dancers and Adrenaline Rush. We even have a minor-league hokey team, (The Wolves), that have ice girls. (How many other cities with minor-league hockey teams have ice girls)? Personally, I prefer The Chicago Ice Girls’ previous years “uniforms” more. The jerseys were tighter anda LOT shorter!!! I am waiting for a team to have a ice crew or dance team with Wicked Weasels as their “uniforms”.
I also think visiting teams should be allowed to bring their ice girls with them. Let both team’s ice girls do their “thing” and if a fight just happens to break out, well, that’s what REAL hockey is all about anyway. Besides, what guy would not love to see a complete battle royale and a comeplete, all-out, cat fight. Maybe, if we are really lucky, a few uniforms would get torn or completely torn off. Who knows, there might be more cheering for the cat fights than for the hockey fights! I know I would love to see our ice girls beat the $#!% out of the “other” “prissy” ice girls.

as far as I am concerned, anyone dissing and putting down these girls is obviously hating…usually comes from women who are envious or unattractive…AKA sarah up there. these girls have videos on youtube, a calendar and are well known around the community. my kids and I are always greeted by them at the games and my daughter gets so excited to see them perform. I agree that they are the most attractive and are DANCERS, not ice shovelers…why would a girl want to be on a team to shovel ice? idiots.

I think everyone that votes in this poll should consider the overall package. Which team can appeal to kids and adults at the game and their hometown community. Yes, physical fitness and beauty should be considered :) It is afterall part of the job. To me the panthers are a bit too provocative for the enviorment they are in. I would have to give it to the Lightning Girls, Chicago, and Dallas. Why is philly’s team so high up there? I didn’t even know they had Ice girls til I visited this site.

Check out Lightning TV with features on each dancer, auditions, games, Jr Clinic, the Beckett Report featuring ToniLynn (07) and Diana (08), or a Lightning game and then tell me who has the hottest dancers/skaters in the NHL. Or actually go up and talk to one- they actually follow hockey and get into the games! Best overall package- Go BOLTS!!!

Let’s hear it for the Chicago Blackhawks Ice Crew. They have the most talented and beautiful girls. We think that Jennie adds so much to the Ice Crew. All of these teams are being judged in comparison, however each team has set their own goals and perform for different organizations. They are fan interactive teams where most areans are family oriented. They are put their to fill in time-outs and pump up the crowd to cheer on their favorite team. They are not taking away from the game of hockey or else they would be performing the whole game. As already mentioned, they perform during stoppage of play. If you don’t like them, then don’t watch. From experpeince at the Pru Center, I know many fans find the girls entertaining, clean looking and full of energy! Let’s Go Devils!

The comment made about the Blackhawks ice crew being brought out after Bill Wirtz passed away is totally wrong and classless. They have been around 5 years and Mr. Wirtz was a very generous man, and was loved by family and friends and all his players, past and present. Also before slandering a man, learn his name, it’s not Wurtz. The Ice Crew is awesome and Bill Wirtz will be missed by those who knew him. Not I guess, by classless ignorant posters to this blog.

Obviously most of the peoplemaking comments on this site have not checked out ALL of the team’s sites or they are choosing to say their girls are the hottest just because they are part of their team. The contest say’s “Who Has The Hottest Ice Girls?” not who dances the best, looks like they are having fun…. HOTTEST & that equals T & A! PERIOD. I know who my vote would go to & they aren’t even my team’s Ice Girls & trust me it’s not the Black Hawks. Those girls have been extra busy on Myspace getting their fans to vote for them & good for them for needing such invalid confirmation that they are the hottest. They do have a few attractive girls but with good apples come bad. I wish that people could give credit where credit is due regardless of the team they cheer for. Im with Sam. and I checked out the BlackHawks girls but not yet the others.
I discovered with the BlackHawks girls that in a group shop from a difference they do look hot but upclose it is a different picture.
Thy all have crazy long belly button rings which are their unsuccessful attempts to distract from their very flabby and out of shape stomachs. And I don’t care if you do have a nice rack, if you have a fat belly then they cancel each other out!!
The could only say 3 were hot. The other girls are nice girls I’m sure but Im not being rude but they are not hot. maybe…maybe attractive.

Or maybe it’s because the Chicago Ice Crew has being going nuts here by being on every TV and radio station and in the newspaper telling their fans to vote…. AND when they work the games at the United giving out programs, they tell the fans to vote for them…. chew on that….

They are so ugly and flabby that they are going to desperate links to win this contest which is not winning anything.
One guy said that there were only 3 girls that were hot, I think that is stretching it. Only two of them are cute and that is the two blond ones. So does that mean the entire team is HOT? The Yania girl is hot but looks like she’s knocking on 40’s door.
Also agree with Jakobeast- if they arent on the ice then how are they ice girls. Dancers/cheerleaders are not Ice Girls. Helping their team while wearing skates = Ice Girls.

Does it make you feel good to put down other people? You do not even know these girls. Evidently you have never been to a Blackhawks game. These young women are all beautiful inside and out. It seems that people that are not confident about themselves feel the need to criticize others to make themselves feel better. And by the way - they are on the ice and they do skate!!

I side with a AtPuck, I don’t think he or she is putting anyone down. I agree they are probably nice girls but pointing out the fact that the Black H. girls are not the hottest Ice Girls is not mean. If that were true then the entire poll is mean. For example there are many celebrities who are cute or pretty but not necessarily Hot.
He or She just pointed out the truth and that being that these girls are not hot. No one seems to be criticizing anyone only making a comment on the subject at hand. It seems anoymous needs to learn how to spell & also not take offense to the poll. They are with out a doubt a BHawks fan if not one of the girls themselves.
If someone wanted to be offended then it should be the girl who are actually hot and who are ranked so low on the polls.
I think the next poll should be which single girl is the hottest.
And I hate to say it Chicago that wouldn’t include your girls however im sure you could find a way to fix the voting again.

Let’s face it, any group of ice girls in the lead would be be put down for the simple reason of being first. The truth of the matter is there isn’t one team that has a total hot group of girls. It is about the fan base. It is amazing to see how some people put others down just cause their team isn’t in the lead.

You mean to tell me that you don’t have more than 1,300 fans that have computers? Everyone gets a vote and the vote counts. since your teams ice crew isn’t first doesn’t mean Chicago is cheating. Means that some people actually took the time to go out and submit a vote.

I can’t believe the jealous sounding people here. Sure you can have preferences. It seems many of the voters like the Chicago Ice Crew. To whine and complain just shows what a poor sport you are. To call the girls flabby is a jealous response that is taken with a grain of salt and I consider the source. If you find a pic of the girls with a flabby stomach then feel free to post a link. How do we rig a vote? I will tell you, we voted, plain and simple.

Has anyone checked out the Predators Ice Girls?
They have a small group compared to the rest because they are actually Ice Girls and skate . There all are great looking for the most part but the majority are very Hot.
My cheer for the WINGS! so this is not coming from a Predators fan, I ma not biased like the Hawks fans. Just thought I could help the other girls in the contest since the Hawks fans are the only ones who seem to know about this poll. But then again who cares who wins this. It doesnt mean the Hawks girls are really the Hottest. I agree with a fan who posted above, the site should have a poll for the hottest girl not team.

The Chicago Crew does skate, and I looked around Florida panthers have it on their myspace and on the panthers message boards, as well as a bunch of the other teams. A lot of teams have been promoting if you google “puckthathit.com” but I stick to what I said earlier, The Chicago fans are just loyal Always have been always will be.

The Chicago Ice Crew Girls are not only beautiful, but also civic minded and very sweet. I run a hockey related charity program for underprivileged kids in Chicago and a few of the girls show up at EVERY one of my events to help promote the cause. They interact with the people who come to my events by signing autographs, posing for pictures and helping with fundraising efforts.
The girls participate at my events completely of their own volition and strictly on a volunteer basis. I don’t know what the rest of you think, but to me that shows their character, class and charitable nature — and THAT is hot!

-By the way, if you want to meet a few of the girls that were overwhelmingly voted to be the hottest group here then come to the Inner-City Education (ICE) Program Charity Hockey Game. It’s THIS Saturday, April 5th at Johnny’s Icehouse at 1350 W. Madison in Chicago. The game starts at 3:30pm, tickets cost $25 and all proceeds go towards academic scholarships for underprivileged kids who play hockey.
The game will feature many prominent retired Blackhawks as well as an appearance by team mascot TommyHawk AND Yanina, Jennie and other Ice Crew Girls!

Ernesto, you’re obviously a tool. First, ALL of these girls are under 30. Second, most of them have 6-packs for abs. unlike the the beer belly you probably carry around. Ice girls aren’t necessary. They should just use kids. The Kings for the last 7 years have used players on the LA Jr Kings. Hockey is classier than the other sports and doesn’t need stupid cheerleaders to interfere.
