Darren Dregger is an Idiot

Let me be frank, up front. I think TSN’s Darren Dreger is a complete idiot. His arrogance is only matched by his vapidness. (Thank you Thesaurus!)

Yesterday, he came up with a list of top 10 guys that are likely to be traded. Here They are:

10. Mats Sundin

9. Brian Campbell

8. Marian Hossa

7. Olli Jokinen

6. Alex Tanguay

5. Rob Blake

4. Miroslav Satan

3. Jeff Carter

2. Dan Boyle

1. Patrick Marleau

I really don’t understand the logic here… by his own admission, #2 Boyle is a “longshot” to be traded… ummm, then why is he your #2?!

Similarly, why is he listing big-name players from teams that will need scoring once they enter the playoffs (#3, #1, and possibly #9, #8, #6)??

Every time I think Dreger is about to redeem himself, he opens his mouth. Bravo.
